What is RuneSpoke?
RuneSpoke is an all-in-one, bring-your-own-AI platform for software teams. It brings the whole developer workflow into a single place: code review, issue tracking, a team wiki, CI/CD, deployments, and multi-IDE extensions, plus two things most stacks are missing today - AI FinOps (unified spend and governance across every AI provider) and agentic access control (guardrails for what AI agents may do on their own). Instead of stitching together a dozen SaaS tools, you get one platform that runs on AI providers and cloud accounts you already own.
What does "bring-your-own-AI" mean?
You connect your own AI provider accounts to RuneSpoke and pay those providers directly. There is no token markup and no reselling of model access - your keys, your billing relationship, your data. Because you own the provider accounts, there is no lock-in: you can switch models or providers whenever you want, and your usage is never trapped behind our pricing.
Which AI providers and IDEs are supported?
The AI router supports multiple providers, including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini, alongside a range of additional providers and gateways. You bring your own account for whichever ones you use. On the editor side, RuneSpoke ships extensions for VS Code, Cursor, and JetBrains IDEs, so the platform meets your team where it already writes code.
What does RuneSpoke replace?
RuneSpoke consolidates tools you are probably paying for separately today: GitHub Copilot (AI coding), Linear or Jira (issues), Notion or Confluence (wiki and docs), GitHub or GitLab review (code review), and Slack (team chat). Rolling those pillars into one platform means one login, one permission model, and one place where your issues, PRs, wiki, and chat all live next to each other.
What is AI FinOps?
AI FinOps is the financial operations layer for every AI provider your team touches. It gives you unified spend visibility across providers, budgets that you can actually enforce, and per-model cost breakdowns, so you can answer "what are we spending on AI, and where is it going?" in one dashboard instead of reconciling separate invoices from every vendor.
What is Agentic Access Control (ARC)?
ARC lets you scope exactly what AI agents are allowed to do. For any action, an agent can be permitted to do it on its own, required to propose it for a human to approve, or blocked entirely. Crucially, an agent acting on a person's behalf is bounded by that delegating human's live permissions - it can never exceed what the human could do at that moment. Dangerous actions are proposed for approval, not executed automatically, so an agent stages the change and a human decides whether it ships.
How do deployments work?
Deployments run over AWS Systems Manager (SSM), which means no SSH and no inbound ports open on your infrastructure. The pipeline includes approval gates before anything ships, a full audit trail of who deployed what and when, and automatic rollback if a release fails its health checks. The goal is production deploys that are both safe and fully accountable.
Is my data and are my keys secure?
Credentials, including your AI provider keys and cloud access keys, are encrypted at rest in the credentials vault. Connecting external tools is a single OAuth button per provider - you authenticate directly with that provider, and RuneSpoke never sees or stores your password. You stay in control of the underlying accounts and can rotate or revoke access at any time.
Is RuneSpoke self-hostable?
No. RuneSpoke is a managed cloud platform and is not self-hostable. You do not run or host RuneSpoke on your own servers. What you do bring is your own AI provider accounts and your own cloud accounts (for example AWS) - RuneSpoke deploys to and reads from infrastructure you own, but the platform itself is operated by us as a hosted service.
What stage is RuneSpoke at?
Our closed beta is coming soon. We will onboard teams gradually and working closely with early users. If you want to try it, you can request early access.
