Getting started
What is RuneSpoke?
RuneSpoke is an all-in-one, AI-native developer platform. It unifies code review, issue tracking, IDE extensions, CI/CD, deployments, and AI FinOps and governance in a single cloud-hosted workspace, so your team can stop stitching together a dozen separate tools.
How do I get access?
Our closed beta is coming soon in 2026. Join the waitlist from our home page and we will reach out as we open up new spots.
Is RuneSpoke self-hosted?
No. RuneSpoke is a cloud-hosted SaaS platform. There is nothing to install or operate on your own servers; you sign in and start working.
Connecting AI providers (BYOAI)
What does BYOAI mean?
BYOAI is Bring Your Own AI. You connect your own AI provider accounts and keys (Claude and others), and RuneSpoke routes work through them. You stay in control of which models you use and how you are billed by your providers.
Which providers can I connect?
RuneSpoke supports Claude (Anthropic) plus a range of other providers and gateways. You add a provider with a single connect action; we never ask you to paste raw client secrets into multi-field forms.
Where are my provider keys stored?
Provider credentials are stored encrypted in RuneSpoke's credentials vault and are only used to make calls on your behalf. See the Security and governance section below for more detail.
Integrations
What can RuneSpoke connect to?
RuneSpoke connects to common developer tools and source providers for code review, issues, and deployments, and exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server plus a REST and tRPC API so you can wire it into your own workflows.
How do I install an IDE extension?
RuneSpoke ships IDE extensions that connect your editor to your workspace. Install instructions and supported editors are covered in the full documentation at /docs.
Billing and credits
How does billing work during the beta?
During the closed beta, access is invite-based. Because RuneSpoke is BYOAI, the cost of AI model usage is billed directly by your own AI providers against the keys you connect.
What is AI FinOps?
RuneSpoke gives you visibility and governance over AI spend across providers, so you can track usage, set guardrails, and understand cost before it surprises you. Detailed configuration lives in the docs at /docs.
Security and governance
How is my data protected?
Credentials are stored encrypted, access is role-based, and AI agent actions are governed by policy controls. RuneSpoke is built with access control and approval gates so sensitive actions can require human review.
Can I control what AI agents are allowed to do?
Yes. RuneSpoke includes governance controls that scope what automated agents can do and can require human approval before high-impact actions are committed. See /docs for how to configure these policies.
